You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet

Just to avoid being partisan, I thought I'd include this in addition to will.i.am's "Yes I can" video produced to support Barack Obama.

Strange.

Why strange? I thought it was hilarious. I was surprised at how quickly the original Obama video became influential enough to have a spoof created. Usually spoofs only work when something is so well known that people can recognize the joke. And...I wasn't really trying not to be partisan. I embrace partisan.

I think the spoof was done too well. It's not that I thought McCain produced this, but I did conceive that some folks on the right were capable of both capturing irony while making their point. And, those were his actual words, no?

Or, maybe it was your setup. I gave the right too much credit and you not enough. Now that I'm back on track, the paper bag was my favorite clip.

(and when are we getting that coffee?!)

I realized after you thought it was strange that it did mimic the first so closely that it could be viewed as somewhat serious. A student sent this to me and prefaced it for me, so right away, I knew it wasn't real; but looking at it again, it could be. Those are his real words, so...that's scary.

And seriously, with the coffee...Tuesday came and went. What the...? Let's talk on Saturday afternoon, 'kay.
