I've realized that I need an extra space to just discuss things of a pop culture nature. This is where I'm going to do it. I can't promise deep, intellectual discussion. But, there's gonna be a lot of t.v. going on here, that's for sure.

About The Tent
Pop culture gets a bad rap. I'm fairly used to feeling guilty about loving to watch television virtually non-stop. I make no excuses for reading Entertainment Weekly and People--and enjoying them. I listen to the radio. I read mass-marketed books. My life is, what some would say, consumed with popular culture. I'd argue that it's enhanced and, yes, even invigorated by the latest water-cooler gossip about my favorite reality shows. I'll gladly argue as to whether American Idol is ruining America one bad singer at a time. Don't even get me started on Oprah. So, this is the tent where no-guilt pop culture discussion may proceed. Who knows, we might even learn something...much like those very special episodes of Tyra.
